This is the lowest cost digital camera supplied by Modular Technology, but unlike competitors in this price range, it includes 8Mb of memory, storing 80 pictures in High Resolution and 320 at Low Res.
It is small, lightweight, and very easy to use, with an LCD display showing the camera status.
Pictures are displayed on your PC in CIF format as 352 x 288 pixel images (101.4K pixels).
Digital Camera - Simply point and click and the built in digital memory stores the image ready for a fast download to a PC via the USB cable. Pictures may be viewed immediately, and edited using the software packaged with the camera.
Camcorder - Takes video shorts, 7 seconds in high resolution and up to 20 seconds in lower resolution.
Webcam - Attach the camera to your computer and open any of the video-based programs supplied. Use it for video-conferencing with Microsoft NetMeeting as well as recording your own videos and video email. A desk top camera stand is included.
Software packaged with Modular Technology TriCam 100 includes - Pen Cam Manager video camera configuration software, Photo Explorer for visual file management, Photo Express 3.0 for picture editing, Microsoft NetMeeting, VideoMail desktop, and Cool 360 Photo Panorama software.
