Installation headaches should now be a thing of the past. This USB modem works with Windows 98 and above to deliver a hot plug and play solution; you simply plug the modem into the USB port when the PC is on. The computer recognises it in a moment and requests / loads the driver software, making the customer experience hassle-free.
No power supply needed
The USB modem draws the very little power it needs from the USB port in full compliance with the USB specification. There is no external power supply, no extra wires to tangle, and it does not take resources (IRQs). Simply plug the modem into the USB port and the computer recognises it instantly, without hardware installation or rebooting.
Check that your PC has a USB port, most PCs built since the start of 1998 should have one or two.
