The company has extensive experience of selling Television and Radio products for PCs. The FM radios draw the little power they need from the PC's USB interface, they have a user friendly interface and come complete with software for playback and recording.
Analogue television tuner cards with the award winning Galaxy software provide the easiest to use Television and Teletext for PCs running under Windows 95 and 98. Users and reviewers have consistently given them their Best Buy awards and praised the ease of installation and quality of the features in the Galaxy suite.
Modular Technology are introducing Digital Radio (DAB) and Digital Television (DVB-T) cards for Personal Computers. The Digital Radio cards, which are available now for evaluation and review, have an excellent on-screen User Interface, near CD quality sound, and recording with a single click of a mouse. They can also operate in background mode while users work with other applications. Shipments are expected to begin in June 2002.
The introduction of Digital Television tuner PCI cards is scheduled for mid 2002. They will give users access to all free to air channels, and current trials show they provide significantly better picture quality than their analogue relatives.
A stand-alone Digital Radio DAB tuner (Hi Fi unit) is scheduled for release in Q3 2002.
